I have a passionfor people, music, new media communication / social media, visual design, and technology.
I’ve been recording, producing, writing, performing, and distributing music since I was 12 years old. I have a passion for music, as I feel it breathes deep into the soul and helps define us as humans. I also have a passion for taking technology and fusing it with creativity to make something beautiful. Utilizing my passion for music and technology, I’ll be launching a new company focused on on-site recording, live audio, studio recording and production, and content creation in the coming months.
It’s incredibly interesting to analyze how internet communication interplays in human relationships. An email, Facebook wall post, text message, Tweet, etc., can literally change the course of a friendship or romantic relationship. We use these mediums to help create and define our social world, and in effect, these are excellent personal mediums for commerce. The trick is reaching someone on a personal level without shoving a big pile of corporate crap down their throats. Thus, my passion is to focus on people, their needs, and bottom-up marketing campaigns.
I’m a complete geeksor when it comes to tech, there’s really no denying that!
The things I’m nerdy about (in no particular order): all things recording (hardware, software, sound absorption, etc.), live sound gear, virtual instruments, psycho-analyzing people and relationships, computer hardware and software, consumer electronics (especially cell phones and media players), operating systems, home theater, tech industry news, iPhone, visual/graphic design, new media communication and its effects on society and relationships, and Google.
